Deer Lake is ideal for boating. The waves are always small making it perfect for small boats, such as rowboats and canoes. In addition, you can use your quiet motor boat (see regulations at bottom of page) to pull kids around in inner tubes or on water skis. You can launch car top boats on the beach, or use the public boat launch 2 blocks away. Once you're in the water, you can tie your boat up to our floating dock for convenient access during your stay.

In addition to Deer Lake, the south end of Whidbey Island is a great place to access Puget Sound. You can launch your boat at Dave Mackie Park (6 minutes away), Possession Beach Waterfront Park (8 minutes away), Langley Marina boat launch (9 minutes away) or Mutiny Bay boat launch (14 minutes away).
