Guest Comments on the Columbia Beach House
We have included selected comments written by our customers in our guest book. While we have selected some of the more positive comments, that fact is that we get virtually no negative ones. A number of people have offered suggestions for improvement (such as adding a telephone, putting a queen size bed in the second bedroom, etc) which we have generally taken to heart. To the writers: Thank you very much for the nice comments. You write better "advertising copy" than we ever could.
February 18-21, 2005 - A collective "wow" from our family! Two of us came from central Montana and two from Skagit valley (including a Whidbey Island 'native')... We were all overwhelmed and impressed by the beauty of your location on the beach. The weather was so beautiful every day from dawn to late at night (in fact we got shorted on our sleep because the pre-sunrise hour is not to be missed and neither are the stars and night lights late at night - everything sparkles and glows!). The obvious fun of watching the ferries load and unload, the birds and the beach all made for a really special weekend. Your beach home was warm and cozy for our winter weekend trip. We really enjoyed the fireplace, the sound system, the luxury of the master bedroom, the beautifully decorated main bath and Jacuzzi...and of course always the views. We'll definitely be back - what a great escape! Thanks for sharing your home with us (if you ever decide to sell, call us, please) Blessings on your dream of a place to retire - you have surely found a piece of property that personifies the term "God's Country"!
January 2, 2005 - Happy New Year to you and may we all be blessed with good health and prosperity in 2005. We had a great New Year at your beach house and enjoyed watching the neighbor's fireworks display. It was very relaxing to watch the sunrise and be tucked inside as we watched the sun melt the frosty rooftops and decks. Have a blessed New Year.
August 26 - September 26, 2004 - What an incredible experience this has been for us and for our family! We can't wait until we can come back next summer. It has been such a pleasure meeting both of you and all of your wonderful neighbors. You are lucky to be in such a friendly neighborhood. Good luck with all your "projects" - don't work too hard! Take time to enjoy this beautiful setting.

February 14-15 2004 - Thank you John and Yan! Your house is so warm and charming. We had a great time staying here. The beach was wonderful with a low tide. We dug clams and hunted for shells! All in all we had a great time. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family in the future. Have a great rest of the year.
October 31 - November 3, 2003 - Your home is so friendly and comfortable. This is the 3rd house we have rented for get-aways this year and your is, by far, the most desirable. Your website is extremely informative and there were no disappointments at check-in. Thank you for sharing your home and we hope to be back soon.
